Inuyasha is the main protagonist as well as the titular character to the popular series, Inuyasha. His father is a great demon by the name of Inu no Taisho and his mother is a human named Izayoi making Inuyasha a half demon-human breed. Before being released by Kagome, Inuyasha was bound to a sacred tree while attempting to steal the Shikon Jewel which Inuyasha believed could make him into a full demon.
